# PicGo

> PicGo is a free, open-source image and file uploader for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It takes a screenshot or file and returns a hosted link, ready to paste into markdown. It is MIT licensed with 26k+ stars on GitHub. PicGo Cloud is a separate, optional paid hosting service — the app itself is free forever.

PicGo uploads to whichever image host you configure: GitHub, Amazon S3, Tencent COS, Qiniu, Upyun, SM.MS, Imgur, PicGo Cloud, or any third-party host through its plugin system. It ships as a desktop GUI app, a Node.js CLI (PicGo-Core), and integrates with editors through plugins and AI agent skills.
