PicGo Cloud is not limited to images. You can upload images (JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, SVG, and more), videos (MP4, WebM, MOV, and more), audio (MP3, AAC, FLAC, WAV, and more), and common documents and archives (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Markdown, TXT, ZIP, and more). The app validates each file when you upload, and lets you know if a format is not supported. The maximum file size depends on your plan — see the comparison table above.
See the full list of supported formatsYour files are unlisted rather than private. Each file gets a public URL built around a random, unguessable ID — it does not reveal your user ID or upload date, and there is no public directory to browse, so as long as you keep a link to yourself, others have no practical way to find it. But anyone you share the link with can open the file directly, without signing in — this is how PicGo Cloud works, so you can embed files in blogs, docs, and other public places. In short: if you do not want something seen, do not share its link, and avoid uploading content that would cause harm if the link ever leaked.
No. PicGo Cloud is a file hosting and delivery service, not a backup service. Always keep your own copies of the files you upload, and do not rely on PicGo Cloud as the only place your important files are stored.
Your account goes through a staged retention period rather than stopping immediately: first a grace period of about 30 days, then a frozen period of about 60 days — roughly 90 days in total. Renew at any point within that window and your data and service are fully restored.
Learn more about the subscription lifecycleNo. During the grace period (about 30 days), images you have already uploaded stay online, so links embedded in your blog or elsewhere keep working. Only active features that require a paid quota — such as new uploads beyond the free quota or custom domains — drop to free-tier levels.
After the grace period, your account enters the frozen period (about 60 days). Public image delivery through PicGo Cloud is suspended — links show a placeholder marked "Account Frozen — Renew to restore media access" — and active features are disabled. Your data stays fully retained, and renewing restores everything instantly, including your image links.
If you have not renewed by the end of the retention period (about 90 days), we permanently delete the images and associated data you store on PicGo Cloud. Renewing at any time within the 90 days restores your data 100%; once deleted, it cannot be recovered through self-service. We send several email reminders along the way.
No. We only clean up the resources you store, such as images. Your account itself is preserved and reverts to the free plan, so you can keep using it for free. Config sync is always free, and we keep your most recent configuration versions even after cleanup.
Yes. Features that the system disabled automatically because your subscription lapsed — such as custom domains or auto-import — are re-enabled on renewal. Anything you turned off yourself during that time stays off.
